| dc.description.abstract | Community development is a way of strengthening civil society by prioritizing the actions of communities, and their perspectives in the development of social, economic and environmental policy. It seeks the empowerment of local communities, taken to mean both geographical communities, communities of interest or identity and communities organizing around specific themes or policy initiatives. This research may help for how adventure tourism will give the community development in Arugam bay area. Tourism is defined as travel outside a person's normal environment for more than 24 hours and not more than one consecutive year. A trip may be classified as an "adventure" trip if it involves two of the following three elements: • Interaction with nature • Interaction with culture • A physical activity Arugam Bay is located at the end of the road on the east coast of Sri Lanka. If you're after remote rural Life with all the atmosphere of jungle and adventure this is the place for interesting tourist. There is no Thoroughfare through the village, and once there it is very hard to leave! The village of Arugam Bay is 5 km south of Pottuvil and on the edge of Yala East National Park. Arugam Bay is the place for surfers, beautiful beach, and sand rock, hill rock in coast, lagoon, watersports Freaks and wildlife aficionados with cheap to reasonable priced hotel and guesthouse. Unfortunately Arugam Bay is on its way to become a major tourist destination, so in resend time there is Number of Tourist Visit and stay in Arugam Bay area. | en_US |
