Abstract
The air cargo exports play a key role in international trade among countries. This research conducted with the purpose of identifying whether there is a significant impact of air cargo exports on Sri Lanka's economic growth. This research concerned on identifying the contribution of air cargo exports on economic growth of Sri Lanka with the usage of secondary data from 1998 to 2008. I applied descriptive analysis and a linear regression analysis as an empirical model in order to obtain the results of the research. The research study found out that there is a positive and significant impact from air cargo exports to Sri Lanka's economic growth where the results depicted an increment of air cargo exports growth rate lead to occur an increment in the GDP of Sri Lanka. Suggest that Sri Lanka needs to export more goods by using air cargo.
