The scarcity of the resources is the major problem in the present world and all the nations tried getting the maximum use of the existing resources. Therefore use several strategies to increase the productivity of the existing resources to get the competitive advantage. This research conducted using a sample of five tea factories who used 5S to identify how the productivity techniques or the 5S concept affect to increase the export quality production level of the small holding Tea factories in Badulla District . Within last years The Sri Lankan tea sector faced some problems most of the economist emphasis the need of increasing of the productivity and though the factories implement the productivity techniques there were no any ex-post evaluation of the effect of the 5S the increase the quality production level of the tea factories. Though Badulla District significantly contributes to the Sri Lankan tea production, it is one of the poorest Districts. So this study was based on the Small holding tea factories in the Badulla and to analysis the effect of the 5S used the model derived from the Cobb Douglas production function.en_US
