Abstract
Quality of work life is a significant thing of the workers in every organization in the world because that would be impacted to the personal life of them and organization performance as well. Therefore the researcher has been gone to find the Impact of quality of work life and organizational commitment of employee in apparel industry at Galle district.. The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between quality of work life and organizational commitment and to identify the relative contribution of quality of work life toward organizational commitment of employees. The 100 employee those who are working in apparel industry at Galle district were selected as a sample by use stratified random sample technique. The data were collected and measured by five point likert scale method further more collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic overall output of quality of work life as positively impact to the organizational commitment, but job satisfaction, company policy wage policy and union of quality of work life were not contributed to the organizational commitment of the employee in apparel industry.
