To carry out the study, 42 of Sri Lanka Association of Software Industry (SLASI) registered companies have selected and the results implies that both of organizational support and entrepreneurship are at the moderate levels in the industry. The findings also verify that there are differences on level of entrepreneurship in terms of all organizational supporting factors except level of organizational structure and boundaries dimension. In accordance to the findings of the study it stimulates some important suggestions to develop the entrepreneurship environment in software development industry with a high level of organizational support for entrepreneurship.
