It investigates whether, or to what extent, active local participation is possible, and how far host communities are merely exposed to impacts of dive tourism. The study covered southern province research locations and revealed that many aspects of local community life by local host communities. As well as this research reveals the relationship between dive tourism impacts and the community development. And examines motivational factors among divers. The review is based on the empirical studies carried out by diving scholars around the world. It explains in detail the items and the dimensions which are commonly used to measure diving motivations.
