Abstract
With the understanding of the current situation of the manual school finance handling system, there is an opportunity to insert some user friendly, easy usage and less cost system which we can be mainly suitable for school context. History of the financial management was little much long. Traditional finance handling system was the most popular one. Now it has been developed through many versions. Financial Management System is providing all the objectives which we had free decided. Specially for the schools in Sri Lanka. Users also attract to the system because of easy usage. Simply this system has 05 modules, those are SDS, F&S Fee, Q&I, Teacher and Reporting. In the sds, F&S Fee and Q&I module, administrator can add income and expenses details related to the accounts. Finally through the reporting module can generate report for the specific account separately. In teacher module shows details regarding each teacher and there leave details. And all the data was stored using Mysql databases. This is the basic controlling phase or the back end of the project. By using this admin(principle) can add details, confirm teachers leave applications, reject leave applications and view any detail. In here all the validation done by using jquery. Other than that entire project is based on PHP, Java scrip and Ajax for development.
When consider the software architecture model of the system, it consist PHP client layers (principle and teacher) and data base layer which store all the data getting from the front view. When consider the testing and evaluation part, I had done some test user registration and insert some test data to get the expected results. Test all the function and module which interact with the system. Finally within this project I had achieved all the objectives and tasks. It can be developed for future with some functionality for school activities.
